Here's the lyrics to a Cross Examination song called "The Foodening". If there ever was a pizza thrash song, this is it.
Well it happened in the month of June, the crew had been partying since noon, the sun had not even yet sunk, but we were fucking drunk. The beast called it from deep inside. We knew there was no way to hide. Hunger creature attacking, appease the foodening. Piled in the car and hit the streets in search of eats on which to feed. The destination this epic day; the pizza buffet. $3.49 - all you can eat pizza. $3.49 - pasta and eats at, $3.49 - the price denotes the mark of the feast. We climbed across the buffet table, devouring all that we were able, and when your average men would drop, we didn't fucking stop. We cleaned out the entire store, pizza warriors we righteous four, we razed and pillaged this delicious land, buffet vikings. Mark of the feast(x4). The foodination was strong this day and we annihilated the whole buffet but when we asked the counter girl for more, she turned and pointed us to the fucking door.
Pay heed to the sign. All you can eat it says for $3.49. Now our demands are clear. If you stand in our way, you'll perish on this day for no one can contain, the fucking foodening.
Not that old thrash is my forte or anything but I'm guessing none of those bands had songs this ridiculous.
"Pizza thrash" is more commonly known as "party thrash", I think the pizza part comes from this board.

The thrash of today has too much punk/grindcore influence. It's pretty much like all of the intricacy left the building. The only thrash band still putting out amazing material is Testament.

I do, most of it is trash. Warbringer is decent but the rest is no good to me. Blackened thrash like the recent non-human level though is amazing and of course it's not made in the USA.

Wait, you saw Matt, Josh? How can I get in touch with that kid, any idea? I dont see him at ANY shows I expect him too, even the Providence shows. I'm assuming he's still with mom and dad in West Warwick as he's kinda tapped but I love and miss that kid.
And thank you: Betrayal played 2 KILLER shows. That one at the Green Room with Toxic Holocaust and Avskum and another at the Safari Lounge (oh the good old days) with Esuriem and Deathamphetamine..

While I love straight up thrash, more times then none I find myself drawn to thrash mixed with stuff, like black/thrash, crossover, power/thrash, punk/thrash, etc.

I feel the same way, not specifically about thrash but more with any music I listen to. I always like the element of surprise so when a band can transition styles very rapidly and still make all the parts kick ass, those are my favorites.
