I couldn't give an exact description, but I would put it somewhere amidst hardcore, d beat, fusion (only in the chords I play; not the time signature) and metal. Fingers or picks are cool; it doesn't matter. If you're someone who enjoys/plays complex things but really appreciates simplicity (i.e. you don't feel the need to "Berklee-fy" everything) then you might like what I'm writing.
