(by the defunct swedish label... war music) It was all old swedish death before it got so gay. It was the first place i heard: In thy dreams (stuff from "at the gates of pleasure"... that album killed it) Eucharist (STILL one of my fav bands, real dark swed death.) Armageddon (from "crossing the rubicon" .... soooooo good) Cryptopsy (Slit your guts, from "None so vile" I don't need to say how good this is) Dimension Zero - From the ep "penetrations from a lost world" redonculas, it's like all the riffs that were too brutal for In flames Jesper used in this band instead. ..... and there were songs from old in flames (lunar strain) and old Arch Enemy (Stigmata) This comp is still in my recently listened folder, and has been for about a decade. |
