Anyone else run into Mel Gibson at South Station Saturday?

I'm coming back from my band's recording session, walk into South Station, and they're filming a movie.
I walk around the corner and Mel Gibson is sitting there, sipping a cup of coffee. Let me tell you, that dude is insane. Everyone was getting yelled at for taking cellphone pics, so in this case, I can't post one.
But I did yell "BRAVEHEART RULES" and he looked around for a second and nodded.
Just kind of weird.. people were getting pissed to no end because they couldn't get on their train due to the filming.

The dude was yelling at one of his assistants, though. It was actually more entertaining than watching them film the movie. Watching Mel Gibson when he's off stage is like watching a lunatic rant and dance around.

No, it was a problem with the director Martin Campbell. De Niro only did a day of shooting, and it wasn't in a scene with Gibson.

The other day my friends came by in hysterics and showed me a video on their phone of them throwing a half eaten burrito at him.
Wonderfully enough, they connected. Hooray for local movie production and mischief.

I have a friend who does Civil War re-enactments as a hobby and a while ago ended up in Pennsylvania or Maryland or somewhere and ending up meeting the guy who was Mel Gibson's body double in The Patriot. Apparently Mel was only in about 25% of the movie, he didn't act in the battle scenes and also refused to be filmed from behind. Also, if you look closely at his shoes, he didn't want to wear the real shoes they wore back in the Revolutionary War period, so he just wore sneakers with some sort of weird boards over his shoes that ended up getting all painted over. I had also heard some friends of my friend ended up actually meeting Mel Gibson, they tried to talk to him while he was on his cellphone and without looking at the people, he puts his hand right up in all of their faces to shush them. Guy is a colossal douche.

dont get me wrong, I hate Mel Gibson as much as the next guy, but if I'm on the phone and a bunch of pricks come up and start trying to talk to me in the middle of a conversation, I'm not gonna hang up and talk to them, especially if I've been dealing with that shit for longer than they've been alive
