Lessee, most of the good ones have been mentioned. +1 on Super Dodgeball. Bionic Commando is absolutely essential, and the endboss is freakin' hilarious. G.I. Joe, both of'em - awesome. Gargoyle's Quest is great. Shatterhand - I forgot what that was called for the longest time. Fun game. Crystalis is a must - it's barely an RPG, almost like a more action-oriented(as opposed to puzzle-oriented) Zelda. Castlevania II has unprecedented depth for an NES game (especially an early one), and the soundtrack is out-of-control good to boot. Metal Storm is cool for a few, but the gravity gimmick gets old after a while (for me). One I haven't seen mentioned is Batman - really good (and hard) platformer. And, yeah, Hydlide is the worst RPG ever. EVER. I also really hated Boy and his Blob, but some folks swear by it. There's one that came out around late in the NES's lifetime where you're a dude who has SUPER ADVANCED XTREEM BOOMERANGS, but it's actually pretty sweet. Can't remember the name.
