Should this occur, you will at least have the compensation of knowing that it will have been expensive whisky. And most of all, may he not micturate upon you or your gear. I had the pleasure of seeing the Pogues last year in NYC and it was grand. Shane wasn't too fucked up, though he did have a caddy of sorts leading him onto the stage when it was necessary for him to be present. Saw him solo at Lupo's about five years ago and the dude was so wasted, he walked offstage (clutching an expensive bottle) and wandered down Westminster. The band had to go into an extended instrumental while they wrangled his surly ass. Goodtimes. Great show. |

By the end of the show he just grabbed the bottle and drank straight from it. But every song out of him was amazing. I wish I was going this year. :( |
