computer nerd question[views:2105][posts:7]_____________________________________ [Dec 26,2005 9:36am - hungta'bleed ""] Dude, I just bought a killer Dell. I want to know if there is anyway that I can install my old hard drive on this computer and put it in my new computer as a secondary drive so that I can use my Internet Security, Anti-Virus, and Spyware shit that is on this old hard drive. From what I have been told I need the actual software CDs for those programs in order for them to work on my new computer, is that true? |

Nah, that wouldn't work unless you did a windows repair installation. Even then your system might be gunky, though. I'd just reinstall those applications. You could, however, hook up your old drive (in addition to the new one) and use it for storage. |
